A little about the role:

This role plays a critical part in the delivery of innovative solutions for our clients and business.

You will work on both internal and external projects and provide value by helping to deliver a range of technical projects. Innovation is the space we play in so this role will see you work as part of an agile delivery team.

You should feel comfortable collaborating with other designers, developers and
project managers and enjoy working in a fast-paced yet flexible, fun and supportive environment.

This role reports to the Chief Technology Officer and has a clear focus on successful technical project delivery using your Software Engineering Skillset.

General duties:

• Work with the General Manager / CTO to scope, plan, design and develop solutions
• Adherence to all company policies and procedures
• Uphold the companies values
• Planning and managing your daily workload through Stand-ups and time planning to deliver work on Time and On Budget
• To provide accurate task estimation and progress reports
• Develop a range of front end / back-end applications using your Technical skillset whilst ensuring a quality output
• Stay across current industry environment and best practices to drive successful project development and assist in organisational best practices
• Solve debugging problems quickly and efficiently

Infrastructure / platforms:

• Advanced support documentation of code written and solid source code version control
• Create and maintain comprehensive software documentation
• Effectively use all Entwined software tools for efficient completion of tasks

People:

• Provide technical leadership including code reviews and direction to team members
• Effectively communicate with clients and internal team to ensure that client briefs are inline with the clients requirements / expectations

Key requirements for role:

• Must have experience in both frontend and backend development working with a wide range of technologies and approaches like:
• HTML / JS / CSS
• PHP / Laravel
• React
• Angular
• NodeJS/mySQL/Redis/BigQueryCI/CD development practices
• Ruby on Rails / Python
• Node. JS. Socket. IO and Websockets
• Designing and maintenance of SQL/MYSQL databases
• PWA, Android and iOS and Chrome OS development experience
• Server maintenance and development – GCP / Firebase, Azure, AWS
• Docker, CI/CD
• Must have proven full stack development experience including the ability to build interactive Software Applications
• Adhere to professional standards-based web development
• Experience interfacing to APIs & Web Services
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience working in an agile environment
• Experience with project tracking software
• Proven experience managing multiple projects of varying complexities, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Ability to Interpret both customer and team leader briefs and deliver high level results that accurately meet the brief
• Ensuring that the appropriate technical input is provided and contributing to the creative process
• You must be adaptable and quick to learn new technologies.
• Some experience in leading a team and ensuring organisational and project KPIs are achieved on a consistent basis
• High commercial acumen and ability to multi-task
• Creation of clean, reusable code
• Understanding of and confidence solving cross browser issues

Education:

• Bachelor of Computer Science or other relevant degree or relevant work experience
