A little about the role:
You will install, configure and supporting client network equipment including routers, firewalls, switches and wireless access points. You will troubleshoot diagnose and resolve client networks and infrastructure issues. Provide after hours technical support for Client networks on a roster. On occasion you will provide onsite technical support for clients experiencing issues if can not be resolved remotely. Provide network assistance to remote technicians troubleshooting issues onsite. Provide secure access to the network for remote users. Update client network equipment to the latest firmware releases. Modify and support network services including branch BGP, DNS, DHCP, SSH, SNMP, QoS and VPN. This role provides support to resolve or escalate network issues to meet client requirements and SLAs.
General duties:
- High level of competence in company business tools
- Delivering systems consulting
- Provide training and support services to clients and to provide technical support for product sales activities
- Undertaking projects and assisting the stake holders in the project management procedures
- Conducting troubleshooting process as required
- Maintaining High service quality to SLA

Key requirements for role:
- Experience in a similar position desirable
- Knowledge of our solutions, IT, and other applications
- Knowledge in network services including branch BGP, DNS, DHCP, SSH, SNMP, QoS and VPN.
- Ability to effectively communicate about our products and services and develop repeat and ongoing business opportunities with clients
- Strong oral and written communication skills (including fluent written English), particularly the communication of technical information
- Understanding of internet concepts and protocols, client-server architecture etc.
- Ability to analyse product or technical issues and develop a technical solution
- Ability to integrate and install multiple hardware and software products
- Ability to produce work of quality and accuracy
- Strong skills in problem solving and troubleshooting system issues
- Ability to work effectively in a technical team, actively seeking out others for assistance, and to communicate ideas with others
- Good understanding of business, commerce & business-to-business marketing
- High level skill in Microsoft Office, and other products
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to produce clear, accurate and readable documentation
- Ability to learn and work effectively with business tools such as CRM etc.
